Adhesopad Acoustic Interface Pad
Adhesopads are high-tech Acoustic Interface Pads (AIPs) designed to dampen and absorb distortion vibration energy. They are
specifically manufactured for use between or attached to objects, for example between speaker cabinets and supports. They are effective in
reducing and isolating distortion vibration while providing solid coupling between surfaces.
General Description:

Adhesopad AIPs are composed of Acrysorb. Acrysorb is a unique solid-state foam with a gel-like look and feel that
includes innovative state-of-the art acoustic characteristics. Acrysorb absorbs and dampens vibration energy by internal cell deformation
and displacement. Its liquid-like molecular makeup and high strength adhesive properties provide firm coupling, improved stability and
safety without the worry of damage to wood, plastic, paint, varnish, or any other surface finish.
Usage Application Summary:
- Dampens and absorbs vibration energy from any surface primarily speaker enclosures.
- Isolates vibration from traveling between objects or speakers.
- Provides solid coupling between surfaces and parts such as between speaker cabinets and stands, supports, or shelves
- Dramatically improves stability and safety by eliminating sliding, tipping, and accidental movement.
- Gels around small objects creating a flat surface for added security and stability.**
- Eliminates the need for destructive spikes which cause destruction to wood, soft tile, linoleum and other flooring surfaces.
- Can be used to secure smaller size satellites and monitors to the tops of larger speaker enclosures.
- Protects surfaces and finishes.
- Super sticky, double-sided adhesive properties make them ideal for studio consoles and monitors.
- Also ideal for bookshelf speakers and satellites.
- Universal adapter: Can be used to fasten, secure and adapt different types and brands of speaker supports, various surfaces, and
stands to most speaker types.

Installation Instructions:
- Remove AIPs from bag carefully.
- With protective sheet still on AIP surfaces, position each pad on the supporting surface where the object (speaker) will be
placed. This is to make sure the AIPs are properly sized. - Remove protective sheet from one side of the first AIP to be installed.
- Center the AIP over the supporting surface.
- Align the most visible edge of the supporting surface first. With a light force slowly roll or apply the AIP to the surface as if
you were applying a bumper sticker. Begin with the visible edge and smooth towards the opposite edge. - Using a light force, press the AIP onto the surface. The top protective sheet should still be in place.
- When the pad is secured to the supporting surface, start with a corner and peel off the top protective sheet slowly.
- You are now ready to position the speaker or object. Simply center the speaker or object over the AIP and slowly connect it to
the AIP. Secure the object or speaker by applying a light force to the top of the speaker. Over time the weight of the speaker will
increase the coupling effect of the AIP. - Installation Complete. Repeat steps 2 thru 8 for other AIP.
